Lets Go to a Swim Meet! - Caltech Pentathlon

Join us in Pasadena on March 4th (Sunday) for a unique kind of Master's swim meet.  For this event, all participants swim 50's of each stroke, and then a 100 IM.  The event is always a lot of fun, very exciting to watch (some of the fastest Master's swimmers in the US typically show up!), and a great way to practice all 4 competitive strokes (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breastroke and Freestyle).  Plus, it usually only takes a few hours to complete, so there will be plenty of time afterwards for sight-seeing if interested.

Let me know at workout if you're interested in going.  We can arrange carpools if we get enough people.

They will be accepting deck entries, so you can either sign up now (on-line) or wait until the day of the event. The meet starts at 10:00 am, with warmups starting around 9:00 am. Master's swimming registration forms and meet entrance forms are available at all workouts, or at the SPMA website:
